The Independent Beauty Association (IBA) celebrates its 50th year in the beauty industry this year, bringing “a new era of innovation, growth, and collaboration” under the stewardship of President/CEO Don Frey. To commemorate this milestone of supporting independent beauty brands, the organization has moved to a new office in Addison, TX, and brought on Eber Bodmer as its first Vice President of Marketing and Communications.
"I am thrilled to join the Independent Beauty Association and contribute to the advancement of independent beauty brands," says Bodmer. "I am passionate about building great beauty brands and look forward to leveraging my experience to support IBA's mission of empowering and championing innovation within the industry."
In collaboration with Frey and other IBA executives Meredith Petillo and Dr. Akemi Ooka, Bodmer helped drive the successful launch of the inaugural Cosmetics Convergence. This two-day virtual symposium delivered valuable insights and resources for industry professionals, combining the expertise of IBA's previous initiatives, including Technical Regulatory Forum, Supply Chain and Sustainability Summit & FDA Workshop.
"We are delighted to have Eber Bodmer as part of the IBA team as Vice President of Marketing and Communications," says Frey. "Her unparalleled experience and dedication to fostering the holistic entrepreneurial spirit of the indie beauty industry align perfectly with our mission, and we are confident that she will play a pivotal role in driving IBA's continued success."
